The same year he came along for a mountain cruise during a summer day in his MR2 SW20. Today he is one member of the Speed Industries grip team.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.speed-industries.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/profilbild.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"profilbild\" width=\"193\" height=\"291\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2026\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Stefan had his first track experiences with the bespoke Toyota MR2 SW20. He realized the fun in driving on a track and soon he formed a plan for getting something faster with less compromises compared to his street legal MR2.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.speed-industries.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/n1249138112_30152109_2378.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"n1249138112_30152109_2378\" width=\"598\" \/><\/p>\n<p>With two of his closest friends he formed a team and they bought a Honda CRX ED9 for a start.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.speed-industries.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/timeattackadr_86.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"timeattackadr_86\" width=\"598\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Soon after they stumbled over an ex Honda Challenge car, a CRX EE8. They had no choice but to buy this example since it had real racing pedigree and a lot of work done to it.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.speed-industries.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/bresse1040615.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"bresse1040615\" width=\"598\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>This year Stefan will be the only one driving the CRX and he wants to start driving in the Swiss slalom championship.<\/p>\n<p>We all wish him the best for the 2011 season and are looking forward to battle it out with him at our own events. \ud83d\ude42<!--:--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><!--:de-->I met Stefan for the first time at one of my trackdays back in 2008.
