As this month&#8217;s theme is &#8222;insight into different plattforms&#8220; I am&#8230; once more not gonna stick to that and do something completely different instead.. Well, actually there&#8217;s pics of lots of different cars, so I&#8217;m not miles away. \ud83d\ude42 I simply wanna show you some of my personal favorite shots from events from the last few years during which I&#8217;ve been running around in the mud and undergrowth that&#8217;s usually surrounding racetracks. Some of them are old beginner pics re-edited, some are a bit newer.<br \/>\nNow, when do I actually know I&#8217;ve captured something useful? In order to fully explain that I gotta tell you that it&#8217;s not completely self-evident which photos are gonna turn out how good, because the tiny screen on the camera can only tell you this much. There&#8217;s some stuff I delete immediately because it&#8217;s definitely nothing, but to tell &#8222;the great from the good&#8220; \ud83d\ude09 it takes a decent screen. But after some time taking pics, you develop a pretty good feeling for whether you&#8217;ve just captured a keeper or if it&#8217;s another blurry soup of colors. And of course, at every event, there&#8217;s the one or two shots that are just so right and amazingly, most of the time I know I have one of those right after I&#8217;ve pressed the shutter release.. I really like how the picture shows the mood at the Geneva Auto Salon, the car quietly sitting there with people busy looking at and fiddling with everything.<\/em> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Martin_Aeppli-17\" src=\"https:\/\/www.speed-industries.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/Martin_Aeppli-17.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"598\" height=\"375\" \/> <em>A picture taken at the very first Speed Industries trackday at Anneau du Rhin.. and one very cool scooby. (Wehrseifen at the Nordschleife).<\/em> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Martin_Aeppli-31\" src=\"https:\/\/www.speed-industries.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/Martin_Aeppli-31.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"598\" height=\"387\" \/> <em>Probably the most ferocious and amazing car I&#8217;ve ever experienced in person, a Ferrari 599XX doing factory testing at the 2009 Speed Industries trackday.. I still get goosebumps just looking at that picture.<\/em> &gt;&gt; Hope you&#8217;re all coming to Hockenheim on saturday!!
