There are some parts of the chassis, that are being overlooked very often. One of those are the tension rods, or better, the link of these to the rest of the car. After approx. 20 years of hard work, they are normally kind of done and tired…
\nAs with other parts of the Silvia chassis, this all adds up and effects in a wobbly unprecise handling of the car.<\/p>\n

The stock tension rods are strong and do not need to be ugraded (at least as long as they don’t need to be adjusted). All you need to do is press the old rubber\/metal inserts out. (you’ll need a mechanic press!)<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Then get the polyurethane upgrade for those busters.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And press the new ones in by hand. <\/p>\n

Now the rods are ready for the next … years \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
