Hi guys<\/p>\n

We do have a new Nissan S14 in our team’s line up and over the upcoming weeks and months we will do some modifications and tests with it.
\nIdea is to show you how we approach a project like this and what our first mods are.<\/p>\n

One important thing you need to know though is that this car will be street legal here in Switzerland and therefore we are a bit limited to what we can do to it.
\nLaws really suck out here.<\/p>\n

So let’s get to the details.<\/p>\n

A few weeks back we picked up this Nissan S14.
\n\"\"
\nIt was an abandoned project and had some rusty spots and other small problems here and there. But nothing to scare us away.<\/p>\n

After picking it up it went straight to a friend with a body shop to get rid of the rusty spots.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

So now the chassis was good and the car was ready for some maintenance and goodies.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Here we have what was ready to go into the car.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

As you all might know the oem suspension and wheels won‘ t cut it for us so we got a nice set of Gram Lights 57D in 9.5×18 and a Tein Super Drift.
\nAdditionally we got an HKS<\/a> oil filter and STi<\/a> panel air filter (well it’s a Scooby part but fits also a Nissan and we had it in stock anyway).
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

In the past we made very good experiences with the Tein<\/a> suspension. We do have it on some of our race cars and they perform very well.
\nThe Gram Light wheels are top notch quality like all wheels from Rays<\/a> and they bring a nice stance to the car.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

So out went the old suspension.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

In went the new.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

We put on the wheels and set up the height of the suspension.
\n\"\"
\nLet’s hope we get no problems with the registration guys due to the low car.<\/p>\n

After that we drained most of the fluids like engine oil, brake fluid and clutch fluid.
\nThen replaced it with some good stuff.<\/p>\n

Since we had the car in the shop anyway we also started to strip the interior.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Out went the back seats, sound system, some sound deadening, spare wheel and all the unnecessary stuff out of the trunk.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Tataaa, we do have a semi stripped car.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

We took out around 80kg of material which should have brought us from 1255kg to around 1175kg.
\nPower stays probably the same (don’t think the air filter brought extra hp over the stock figure) so we are still at 205hp.
\nSo changed the power to weight ratio from 6.12kg\/hp to 5.73kg\/hp.<\/p>\n

So next things we will have to do is the fender rolling.
\nAfter that we will be ready for the first testing out our trackday in Anneau du Rhin on the 17th of July<\/a>.
\nThere we will have the car on the dyno and do some on track testing.
