Today we are going to talk what you should bring to a racetrack besides your car.

It probably happened to a lot of people, me included, coming to a track event and then missing some items, tools or spare parts. When I attended my first trackday, I actually did not have a helmet, what was I thinking.
\nSo to help you not doing the same mistakes I show you what to bring. Should you have a race team with like 10 people working on your car anyway, then please skip this section.<\/p>\n

\nThis is the bare minimum what I would suggest everybody to bring with him for a trackday or race event.
\nThe assumption here is that your car is in good condition.
\n – helmet (most events require a helmet)
\n– something to drink so you stay fresh
\n– something to clean your windows
\n– some engine oil
\n– extra fuel
\nEven the newest engine can burn some fuel under heavy driving and the older ones tend to do even more so.
\nExtra fuel will help you to get to the nearest fuel station, just in case you had a bit too much fun at the track and there is no fuel station right there.<\/p>\n
\nThis goes out especially to all the drifters and everybody else who is switching tires.
\nAdditionally to the minimal setup you should have:
\n– car jack
\n– four way socket wrench or similar tool for the wheel nuts
\n– extra wheels
\n– race tape
\n– small tent
\nThe small tent can really be helpful if it is really sunny or raining all day long. And they can be picked up for like 50 bucks these days.
\nRace tape can basically help with everything, I have seen cars being hold together just with tape.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.speed-industries.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/three-ton-hydraulic-jacks.jpg\" "\\"three-ton-hydraulic-jacks\\"")
\nDo yourself a favour and take a hydraulic jack, not a screw type.<\/em><\/p>\n
\nSince there is no maximum setup, I just called it the big one.
\n– all fluids for your car (brakes, diff, water, oil, fuel)
\n– stands for under your car
\n– a decent sized tool box with all the tools you might need
\n– gaskets for exhaust
\n– spark plugs
\n– replacement tie rods
\n– extra brake pads \/ maybe discs
\nI am sure I am missing some stuff here, but you can just keep on reading to get more ideas.<\/p>\n
\nHere is some stuff we nowadays have with us at drift events. Obviously we would have different or less stuff with us for a regular trackday or grip event.
\n– LOTS of tires
\n– compressor and air tools
\n– spare diff
\n– spare turbo
\n– spare clutch
\n– spare brake pads
\n– 2 sets of all exhaust side gaskets
\n– spare intercooler piping silicone hoses
\n– hoses for various things
\n– wheel spacers
\n– copper gaskets
\n– spare power steering pump
\n– 2 sets of tie rods
\n– spare suspension arms
\n– race tent
\n– big tool box
