Unfortunately our own photographers are bit busy these days so I step in to do a photofriday.
\nAll pictures are gathered throughout the internet and do come from various photographers. So props go to them for taking the nice pics.<\/p>\n

This event was special in various ways.
\nFirst of all it was our team member Jo’s first drift event with the project S14. Then it could have been the last drift competition at Pouilly and the PS13 got some updates in the chassis department.
\nSo after arriving on Friday we set up camp and got ready for the Saturday free practice day.
\n\"\"
\nYou can kind of see the evolution in the Silvia family<\/em><\/p>\n

Our setup was very basic, since forecast was predicting no rain and we only had two cars on site.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Saturday was all fun and testing time.
\nJo was going good rather quickly and you could see that all the shotgun rides kind of helped him.
\n\"\"
\nOh how I anticipated this day. Jo is always a hard worker in the pits and behind the scenes. Now finally he can enjoy driving.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nHe already tried to enter some chasing. Mmh maybe next time \ud83d\ude09<\/em><\/p>\n

Pouilly is such a great track to drift. You have slower and faster sections, very nice to test some new things on the car.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

So I was going through sets of tires rather quickly.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

There was also some time for taxi rides. By the smiles they had when exiting the car they did have some fun.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Then came Sunday, game day.
\nUnfortunately this meant no more driving for Jo, since he did not enter the competition.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

In the morning was qualification.
\nI qualified 12th or something but I actually did not bother about it. It was a top 32 bracket and that was all I focused on from there on.<\/p>\n

I was up against a frech driver in a black\/orange S14. I had no clue how he was driving but during my lead run I just did my thing.
\n\"\"
\nHe was not that close, so not in the picture<\/em><\/p>\n

I did pull a good gap between him and me so I had the advantage.
\nThen the chase run began.
\n\"\"
\nHere is the first corner of the judged section<\/em><\/p>\n

I started off not that bad. Initiated earlier then he did, got close but kept it together.
\nThen in the 3 turn I unfortunately got too close and had a straighten.
\nI instantly knew that was not good.
\nAfter returning to the starting line he got the win due to my mistake.
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nDarth Vader is rather right.
\nI also find it rather disturbing.
\nBut I will give my best again at the next event.<\/p>\n
