Kraft GT300 AE86Kraft GT300 AE86

During this week we had already a very fast hillclimb car and a very well known driftcar from Japan. Today we are moving on to gripracing on track!

The GT300 class has a restriction of 300hp and various other restrictions, which makes it affordable for various companys but also privateers. The Porsche 996 GT3 is one of the most feared cars in this class. With restrictor the 300hp are in reach and the car is very well preped already from Stuttgard. But, we are not talking about german supercars, we are taking about the Hachiroku.

The AE86 GT300 uses an Toyota 503E which is a 3S-GTE engine tuned to perfection by TRD. The same engine type was used in GT300 Supra earlier. Just an amazing piece of engineering!

As we speak of „the“ GT300 AE86 we just have one name to describe all that: Kraft Ae86 GT300. The car was used from 1999 to 2001 unfortunatly the car never ended in a museum or an exhebition. Rumor has it, that the car is in pieces all over Japan, but we can do a little homage here and now. Fact is, racing can’t be described in words or written down on paper. Racing is something for all senses. We dug out old videos about the build of the Kraft AE86 GT300, so watch and enjoy
