Photography Friday – IDS NürburgringPhotography Friday – IDS Nürburgring

A few weeks ago, on the sunday of the same weekend as the Drift Challenge at Hockenheim, we also did an IDS round at Nurbring. Now unfortunately this has been one of those events that I simply haven’t found the time to process the photos of. Also I’m currently studying for my exams which are in August/September, so it won’t get any better.. 🙂 So here are a few pictures from the Nürburgring smokefest without any long stories:

Christian Koegler’s crazy BMW-engined S13 once again smoked like crazy

closely followed in the smoke volume stakes by the MPS R32 of Philipp Stegemann

Generally, the conditions seemed to be good for smoke.. Oliver Harsch does his bit.

Different corner, different look.. Robert Höing tackling the slow uphil part of the circuit.

Tobias Welti, our blue stig, in action!

Alain Thomet taking Marco Bolognese from dirtdrop.ch for a ride.

After the unfortunate incident at Hockenheim with their new car, Joe Hountondji from the Hountondji Driftbrothers showed good spirit, showing up in their backup E30.

Andrew Hirschy with his now slightly battered S14 was also competing.

As a closer, here’s my trusty old camera crew scooby that once again made the trip without complaints.

By the look of it the next event I’ll be able to attend will be either the IDS round 6 at Monza or the EM/IDS Finale at the Nurburgring so I hope to see you all there!
