New project car in the garage: the Z32New project car in the garage: the Z32

Those who have followed the S13 build thread, here comes the car, which inherits the legacy of the black S13.

(sorry for the blurry pic)

The 1993 Z32 Twin Turbo has arrived a few weeks ago in my garage. It will now undergo some servicing and „de-tinkering“ of weird „upgrades“ of the previous owners.
The chassis is in quite a good shape, besides a few dents and scratches. Technically, it is in a very good condition, maybe due to it featuring an auto transmission. Those models rarely get used and abused by morons. The transmission will stay automatic for the following season, as some more important things need to be done beforehand. It is planned that the car should be driven as often as possible in 2012 for me to get used to the new chassis and step by step being able to upgrade the suspension, brakes etc.

The next few steps:
– great inspection of VG30DETT: timing belt, idlers and stuff, spark plugs, liquids, filters etc.
– minor exterior upgrades
– suspension upgrades
– get the car licenced in Switzerland
– slight performance upgrades

stay tuned…
