a new facea new face

As I’m one of the new faces in the team for 2012 I should introduce myself, right?

Well then, here we go! I’m Chris Meier, 24 years old and look somewhat like this:

I can’t really remember how I got into drifting.. It just caught me and never let off since then. Altough I’ve never took seat in a driftcar by that time, I just needed something to rip it up… so I bought a old S13, putted in some work and $$ and took it to random driftdays!

By the end of 2010 the old stupid CA18 blew up and I had no other way than rebuild that fucker! So the guys over at Chip-Racing helped me out putting together a new CA and get the car running again. Ready for more trackdays in 2011 woohoo.

This was about the time I met the guys from team Speed Industries at one of their ubercool drift and grip trackdays in AdR. Our ways then crossed quiet a few times during the year, since they are a fun bunch of dudes helping them out with fixing the cars at events was done with a smile on my face… a little, tiny smile

Yeah…and somehow i got talked into it haha… looking forward to a great time with the guys!

I’ll be participating at a few IDS and Drift Challenge rounds, and some „just for fun“ events, basicly producing smoke and having a good time… that’s the plan for 2012. My car will be my supertrusty S13 which never let me down over the last year.. she’ll be wearing the Speed Industries sticker with pride!

See you guys soon, till then PEACE
