Photography Friday – GenevaPhotography Friday – Geneva

As almost every year, last week I made the trip down to Geneva for the Autosalon. I think I’ve actually mentioned on here before that I don’t really like static carshows, there’s just not enough smoke, noise and action. Nonetheless, Geneva is always a good opportunity to catch up on what’s new in the automotive world.

The Lexus LF LC, a hybrid concept. Looks pretty good I think.

Furthermore, this year’s show didn’t concentrate quite as much on cellphones on wheels that need to be recharged every 20 minutes but instead had some nice new performance orientated metal on show. Well, for further endless ramblings about what was new, please check your favorite car magazine and let me just show you some pictures for a change:

Thinking about getting one of those for the summer… oh no, wait.. I’m not rich. 😛

Aston Martin Zagato. Needs some zipties to make it perfect, I think.

The new A-Class, not a car we really get excited about.. there’s gonna be an AMG version with a 350bhp 2L Turbo engine though!

A concept car from Infiniti. If I were to spot that at Anneau du Rhin next saturday I’d think some aliens had decided to land on earth and take part in some trackdays..

A car I’m sure you all already know: the Toyota GT86.

Styp seems to like it..

But I just don’t like that there’s no turbo!

Not even in blue cars. Which are made by Subaru. 😛 EJ20 might fit though…

Blue scooby has no scoop but is at least blue. I prefer silver though.

But enough of these crazy performance cars made for driving fast on crazy racetracks. So here’s a Koenigsegg with 1115bhp that does 0-300kph in 14.5s and has a topspeed of 442kph.

If you prefer your car with a star on the front and you think the C63 AMG is boring, Brabus does a V12 version of the C-Class with 800bhp. Tire sponsor is recommended.

And if every time you buy food at a gas station you get really angry about having to eat it with your bare hands, get the Bentley Kitchen Transporter. I don’t think that’s its actual name.

Hope you all go out and buy lots of these cars because these manufactures paid me huge amounts of money for showing them off here. Not.

See you all at Anneau du Rhin, next Saturday (24th) or then on Monday (26th) or even better, both days! It’s about time the season gets underway!
