Daigo Saito becomes the first ever driver to win the Formula Drift championship in his rookie year. No other driver has done this, but obviously Daigo ain’t no rookie in the scene. He has already won Formula Drift in Malaysia and the D1 in Japan, so he’s kinda used to all this wining I say. Either way, props to him for taking it down in the good old USA. I haven’t come across too many videos from the event yet, but here is the first one I dug out from the Ford racing team.
