When I met Icon it was at the appartement at the Anneau du Rhin complex. We were all at the balcony reminiscing over some car stories and Icon was talking about his adventures with his Scooby.
Now usually you do not take things for granted which are told in such a laidback and boozed environment but the next day at the track was showing he was actually going crazy with his 4WD machine. That day he was throwing his GDB Impreza into every corner and burned a set of rubber in just one day.
At that point I knew we have the same kind of vibe.
It does not matter if you see him at a rock concert or your grannies retirement home, he knows how to behave properly and is a rather calm type of guy. But if he just smells a racetrack he changes from Hyde to Jekyll in no time.
Icon learned a lot over his first season in 2010 and made lots of improvements to his driving style. He learned quite fast how to drive his rocket-skyline sideways through corners.

In 2010 he also took the job of the drift team manager and always gives a 100% for this. He does not rest until his job is done and some times we have to stop him and not get exhausted. His effort is priceless though and brings much into the team. I am glad to have him on board.
2011 will bring a new chapter to Icons driving book and we are all looking forward to see how he progresses.
