As the mountain pass touge saison is now definitely in full swing also for non scooby-drivers, I would like to show you my pictures from the epic roadtrip fellow photographer and good friend Alok Paleri an I did as far back as last summer. As the recent weather around here has been much more like summer than spring these pictures fit even better!

Hi everyone!

As usual it’s past 4am when I’m writing this.. but Herbie Hancock still keeps me going, enabling me to show you a few first pictures from last wednesday’s Speed Industries Trackday at our „home track“, Anneau du Rhin.

Last friday, I made the trip to Geneva for the fifth consecutive year. While I by far prefer to be at a racetrack with ruber and bodyparts flying past my ears, it’s become a bit of a tradition to go to Geneva with a few friends to look at what’s new. Being mechanical engineers in the making, we also like to test whether all the guys and girls standing around by the cars have made their homework and know anything about the lumps of metall (and recently lithium-ions, hydrogen, carbonfibre, carbotitanium and what not..) they’re supposed to present. This years crop didn’t fare so well, although everyone had clearly been told to tell you about how suppreme their hybrids are. Not really my cup of tea though.. As always at car shows I didn’t take too many pics, as also in this case I prefer to catch them „in the wild“ and not standing on a show floor confusingly lighted and surrounded by people. Nonetheless, there were a few cars that caught my attention so I’ll show you what I was able to capture of them.

Hi y’all!
As this month’s theme is „insight into different plattforms“ I am… once more not gonna stick to that and do something completely different instead.. Well, actually there’s pics of lots of different cars, so I’m not miles away. 🙂 I simply wanna show you some of my personal favorite shots from events from the last few years during which I’ve been running around in the mud and undergrowth that’s usually surrounding racetracks. Some of them are old beginner pics re-edited, some are a bit newer.

Good morning folks..

As the current theme of the blog is driver presentations, I thought I’d go ahead and show a few pics of my own car, the good old scooby that’s recently become the official Camera Crew Scooby, used for about everything you can imagine, from drift car chases to everyday car.. It also is pretty much the main reason why I originally started taking pics, as I bought my first camera to take it along on drives and to meetings. The pics I’m showing aren’t those first pics I took but just a few from along the way, taken some time ago with my first SLR, the 400D.

Hi, how was everyone’s week out there?

For once I’m afraid I’m not gonna be able to follow the week’s theme with my photo friday post, simply due to the fact that I haven’t ever really shot any vintage cars.. So what I’m gonna do instead is show you a few pics I took last week at a Subaru Snowdrift Event up in the swiss alps, which while it isn’t vintage does at least go well with the current weather conditions we have here. And there’s a few GC8’s in there, which you might call almost vintage by now.. 🙂
